LoveMuffinPalooza 2026

This year's event will be at the Treelawn, 15335 Waterlo Road, Cleveland, 0H 44110. Music will be provided by The G Strings, Blue Drivers, Cosmic American Music, Mallory SanMarco, Flowers Love Being Eerie and Lost State Of Franklin. There will be over 125 raffle items with a Cleveland touch, as well as vendor tables from Cleveland artists and businesses. Carrie Danger from 107.3 will be the emcee. Tickets will be available soon at the Treelawn website.

LoveMuffinPalooza
The History
LoveMuffinPalooza is a concert I started in 2008. The image behind this text is the poster from the first Palooza. It was inspired by Undercurrents, the annual music festival here in Cleveland in the 1980's and 1990's. During the day it was a tradeshow with discussion panels, and during the night it was bar hopping to see bands at different venues. I focused on the live music aspect. The initial Palooza was a two night event at the Symposium in Lakewood. The event would experiment with different formats and venues over the years until it settled on the current Sunday evening setup at the Bop Stop
In 2009 I got sponsors. In 2012, I decided to add a raffle and donate the money raised to a cancer charity in honor of my cousin who was a drummer and had passed away from cancer. I found The Gathering Place, a Cleveland based cancer support center. I was able to raise near $400 with donated prizes
As the event progressed, the amount of prizes increased, peaking at 175 in 2024. Bands began telling me to donate their pay as well, and in 2018 the event was renamed "LoveMuffinPalooza - a benefit for The Gathering Place"
